"David has carried out a number of projects for us. He knocked out a wall between two small bedrooms to make a larger room. He put in a built-in closet and a sliding door for the room. He is a very neat and clean worker.
He also built us a new coat closet with hanging space and storage space exactly as we asked - and to go with it, a toy box on wheels that doubles as a seat so we can sit and put our shoes on near the door.
David's latest project for us was to refinish the top of our buffet/sideboard that had been badly water damaged over the years - a job that another refinisher of furniture said could not be done. We are really pleased with the result - instead of a piece of junk to throw out, we now have an heirloom to pass on to our kids. While he was at it, he made a new extension for our dining table, so now we can seat four on each side instead of three.
His pricing has always been very reasonable and he is very flexible about payment. He is a thorough and careful worker and a pleasure to have around."
Philip added: "I am somewhat of a handyman myself, and so I can appreciate that he is a "rosh gadol." For example, to make the extension to the dining room table, David used wood from the old coat closet (that was replaced by the new closet he built)."

David has done many jobs in our house, including fixing cracks, repairing broken windows and cabinet doors, installing light fixtures and changing a door handle. He has always done a very good job and leaves the house as clean as he found it (or cleaner).He also made beautiful Torah stands at our request which we donated to the synagogue. His design and implementation were very high quality and are a beautiful addition to our synagogue.
His prices are very reasonable and he is a pleasure to work with.

David has done lots of work for me and besides his many talents ranging from carpentry, painting, tiling, refinishing wood, creative solutions (that don't require a big investment) and all kinds of general repairs, he is very trustworthy and responsible. His creative approach to solving problems is appreciated as well as his attention to detail. David took care of planning and installing an IKEA kitchen which wasn't so straight forward and required custom adjustments to ensure that the kitchen would be functional and fit the way that it needed to. David identified the problems in advance and took the necessary steps to make sure that it would be done properly.
Even with small jobs, David gives it his full attention. It is a pleasure to work with David who is very professional, lots of good ideas and doesn't try to talk you into something that you don't need done.

We needed a cabinet for storage with various constraints of space dictated by the wall and a column. We outlined the solution we wanted, and then invited David to see the place and showed him a drawing we had made. David measured, researched and asked many questions, and gave us a plan with improvements and additional solutions. The result was more than we expected: a combination of aesthetics and functionality. Everything in place with the optimum utilization of space and volume and with easy access to all items. Beyond that, David was incredibly kind and patient. In conclusion, we received full value for our money and enjoyed working with a professional who respects his work.
